Tour Officials Working on Replacement Venue
Lake Odessa, Michigan (Sunday, August 5, 2018) - The American Ethanol Modified Tour presented by Allstar Performance race scheduled for Saturday, August 11th at Waynesfield Raceway Park has been suspended. Waynesfield Raceway Park announced the change in their program on their Facebook page early Sunday afternoon.
American Ethanol Modified Tour officials have been and are currently continuing to work on finalizing details for a replacement venue for a Tour race on Saturday, August 11th.
“We apologize to our race teams and fans for this sudden schedule change”, stated Tour Director, Scott Menlen. “We are working as quickly as possible to finalize a replacement venue for August 11th and release that information as soon as possible”, he concluded.
Both Waynesfield Raceway Park and American Ethanol Modified Tour management mutually agreed it was in the best interest to suspend the race due to unforeseen circumstances within previous expectations established between the Raceway and former Tour management. It was determined that neither the Raceway nor Tour would be able to fulfill those expectations for this event.
The next event for the American Ethanol Modified Tour presented by Allstar Performance is the Tommie Bauer Memorial Race on Friday, August 10th at Mt. Pleasant Speedway.
